There is a new start-up firm called "Süddeutsche Hülsenmanufaktur" which manufactures some interesting types of not so frequently available or rare types of brass. I have their 8,5x63 R and am quite satisfied with the quality.

When you click on a caliber you open a drawing with measurememts.

Current product range.

Currently under preparation.

This is excellent for you I hope.
I am not sure that German firms can effectively market in the US. It seems we never get significant distribution and inventory. Prices are always extremely high and the product is rarely available.

I hope they are successful and some day manufacture the 6.5X53R Dutch Mannlicher round. The only source of this round in the US is from reforming .303 British brass.

Are there any legal restrictions to import brass into the US from Germany?

Up here we think the US has some silly regs with the ITAR stuff, Germany is closer to completely around the bend. Couldn't export a reloading manual without an export permit, is what they told me.
Some of that brass, could help resurrect some nice guns over here, I'd bet.
