My dad's building a 6.5wsm and needing dies and brass to neck down, I need to know which case is the oddball and shorter than the others?

He already ordered the 270 WSM Redding S die (hope this isn't the short one) and will use the bushings to neck down to 6.5mm. Any idea how many thou. you can neck down at a time using the Redding bushings?

Appreciate your help.

Just found a link that answered my own question.

The 7mm WSM is .035" longer base to shoulder. than the 270 and 300 WSM, all having the same oal.

270 brass and redding S dies with bushings will work with a 6.5mm carbide expander ball if needed.

He'll be sending back the 7mm WSM brass and getting the 270 WSM stuff.

Try this link for information and reloading data, although I have not seen any wildcat data there.

That's actually where I just got the data from, the specs page. I was going to post a link to it but totally forgot. Thanks. [Smile]
