Does anyone use this powder with 350 gr bullets. I was going to try it and cant find any good reference to velocity. I shoot TSX's. Is this a good powder for speed or accuracy? should RL-22 be better? Right now I use H-4831, good speed but was looking for more accuracy. Also running out of powder and have the oportunity to try something new. Any load info welcome. WOODY Everyone is allowed an opinion, even if its wrong.

Am using IMR 4350 with 350 gr Barnes Xs. Velocity is 2700 fps and accuracy as been 1 1/2" at 200 yards from a CZ 550 Safari Mag. Have taken Gemsbock, Hartebeast, Cape Buffalo, and American Bison with this loading. Works like a champ. Only recovered bullet was a ground followup shot on the buf. Hit him in the right rear quarter. Bullet broke the femur, penetrated the full length of the animal and was found against the front wall of the chest. A Good 5 to 6 feet of penetration. Good enough speed, accuracy, and penetration. Mike -------------- DRSS, Womper's Club, NRA Life Member/Charter Member NRA Golden Eagles ... Knifemaker, http://www.mstarling.com

PoppaW, I attempted to work up a .416 Rigby load with RL-25 and a 300-grain Barnes XFB. I was looking for velocities in the 2900+ fps range. With 102-grains of RL-25 I shot a ten shoot string over an Oehler M35 with the following results: + 2506 - 2362 E 0144 M 2420 S 0042 The 300-grain bullet was too lite for the slow RL-25. I abandoned RL-25 development and went to RL-22.
