My accuracy loads in my M70 Classic Stainless 300WSM:

180 NBT or SST (NBT slightly more accurate):
H4350, 64 Gr
VN560, max load per VV data for 185 VLD(forgot the exact number)

165/8 NBT/SMK
55gr Varget
54 Gr H4895

Win brass. My rifle likes OAL in the 2.95"-3.00" range. Thankfully the M70 magazine allows this, up to about 3.1" in my rifles.

About 10 deer have fallen (quickly) to this rifle and the NBT's, only recovered 2 bullets, 165's after passing through the deer from chest to rear leg.

YMMV! Have fun!

trashcanman-

The following are my results using WW brass and Fed 215M primers:

With Reloader 19, I started at 70.0 grains and worked my way up to 72.0 grains in .5 grain increments and loaded three at 72.3 grains. I was shooting 150 grain Hornady Interbonds. My results were as follows:

70.0 grains, .75 MOA
70.5 grains, .50 MOA
71.0 grains, 1.00 MOA
71.5 grains, 1.44 MOA
72.0 grains, 2.5 MOA
72.3 grains, 1.63 MOA

I could not get WW760 to shoot in my rifle worth a poop.

I would suggest to do some searches here in the reloading forum regarding same. The .300 WSM has been extensively written about. I would also recommend looking at the ShortMag board as well. Lots of reloading data there.

Good luck!!!!
