Are you screwing the stem down far enough on the inside sizer so the case mouth reaches the flare to bell the mouth out slightly? [Wink]

Here's a guess - the sizer is doing the job for which it is designed. It is sizing the case to fit the chamber, well ALL chambers. This means that it may be a bit small. Your choices include at least two options:

a. Don't size quite so far down - this will leave the case a little larger;

b. Use an expander to open up the case slightly after sizing.

The sizer die is doing just what it's supposed to. Next you need to run the cases into the flaring die to flare the mouth enough to accept the bullet. This is a 3 die set? BD

The second die has the expander in it that is tapered to a larger diameter tward the top, it has to be adjusted downward to initiate the flare. If you run the case up into the outside sizer then up into the inside sizer you should be able to run the case back up in the inside sizer and then screw down the expander stem until the flared part reaches the case mouth. At this point adjust downward a little at a time so you have a flare just enough to seat bullets without working the mouth excessivly evry time you bell then seat and crimp. If your crumpling cases trying to seat the bullets that's an idication you need to chamfer the case and or bell them a little bit more. [Big Grin] [Big Grin]
