Just a question to see if anyone can help me. When l aquired my Rem 700 it came with about a dozen Federal Premium rounds in 60grn TNT hollow point (now down to 2). Can anyone tell me what cocktail they use, as l've found they drop only 1/2 inch lower then my regular load and l'd like to see if l can run out a copy to use on the lighter vermin. lt's more for the powder and primers, as of course l know the cases and bullets...

if it's a TNT it's a 70 grain bullet.....
I like H414 for the 70 grain bullets in the .243 Winchester but if you really want to shoot the 60 grain bullets (58 Gr V-Max from Hornady) I'd use Varget.

Vapodog.

The lad who sold me the kit said they were 60s but you could be right. l just thought it was handy to have two loads that would shoot so closely to the same point of aim. l'm using hodgdons h4895 for my other load so at least if the powder's from the same maker then l know l can get it locally.

Regards.
