Searched here but have not found the info, so I'll ask the pros. What have you found to be the difference of grains (RL-15) for the same point of impact for 416 REM using 400 gr Part. vs the Nolser 400 gr solid. Would 1 grain difference be about right??? Thanks for all the info! Skip Nantz | ||

there is no magic formula. every gun will shoot them differently. all you can do it trial and error shooting | |||

Butch is correct. No part of reloading has been or can be reduced to a chart or formula, ie, POI for RL-15 in a .416 with Nosler 400 Partition vs. Nosler 400 Solid has not been tested by anyone because it would only be valid for that rifle and no others anyway.
