Looking for accurate 9mm Para. reload using 135 gr. lead bullets. Want velocity to be about 950fps. Suggestions? DaMan

What I'm looking for are accurate, low recoil loads that meet the minimum power factor for minor for various action pistol shoots. So these are the loads and powders I'm going to try first. HP-38 @ 3.7gr., W231 @ 3.6gr., AA2 @ 3.8gr., and Universal @ 3.8gr. Any other suggestions? NOTE: Edited to reduce W231 to 3.6 gr.

3.0 to 3.4 grains of Titegroup. I used a 135 gr Zero jacketed with this load so lead should be OK also. Dan in NC

Thanks for the recommendation, Dan! I was thinking about Titegroup too. In fact I've got some available to test. I usually cut back loads meant for jacketed bullets by a few tenths of a grain or more when I use them with lead bullets. So I think I'll try 2.8 or 2.9 gr. of Titewad behind the 135 gr. lead bullet. I want to just barely reach that 950fps mark. I'm looking for minimum recoil, minimum muzzle flip..... but want a load that meets the 125 power factor, is reliable and accurate. I love to experiment!

Here are the first loads I'll test for function and velocity with the lead 135gr. FP..... HP-38 @ 3.7gr., W231 @ 3.6gr., AA2 @ 3.8gr., and Universal @ 3.8gr., Titegroup @ 3.8gr., Clays @ 2.8gr., and Bullseye @ 3.5gr. Here are some other possibilities I'm contemplating.... 700X @ 3.3gr., Unique @ 3.8, N340 @ 3.8gr., WSF @ 3.9gr., AA5 @ 5.1gr., Power Pistol @ 4.6gr., and HS-6 @ 5.0gr.
