Exact shooting makes a Ultra precision sizing die that I discovered recently.
Has anyone had any experience with these dies. I suspect they are very expensive, especially since their website doesn't even post it. They are manufactured in South Africa.

A friend down country was looking to import a set or two to try, and yes they are pricey.
l double you would find any improvement compared to sending a set of fire formed cases to Redding et al, all things considered.
lf l remember and run in to him at a bash next month l will ask if he managed to acquire any and how he got on with them.

Unless you are shooting a wildcat you have developed yourself, in which case you would have had a custom die made for it, I honestly doubt you will see any difference in performance with factory guns.

We use several hundred dies, made by Lyman, Lee, RCBS, Redding, Hornady etc.

They all work.

Sounds like good advise.
It's for a 338 Lapua Mag with a very tight chamber.
I did get a reply, and they run over $800 for the large magnum cartridges like this.
I'm thinking it might be better to invest it in a quality scope, although I'm still tempted.

Don't know if they still do or if other manufacturers do but RCBS used to customize sizing dies. If you bought one of their dies and it didn't work, you could send the die back along with 5 cases fired in your rifle and they would make a die to fit your chamber.

I've had them make me several custom dies. Very happy.

https://www.warner-tool.com/reloading-dies/

Warner Tool just started making high-end reloading dies. From the look of them they are impressive...and it looks like they start at around $600.

they all make zero tolerance dies for benchrest shooters, you can load them with out resizing in some cases, the resizing die is two pieces of metal and you stick a case in and hit it with a hammer in some cases...I wouldn't concern myself with such stuff...I have one wildcat that I sent 3 cases to for a bench rest chamber..I have to outside neck ream all 223 cases for it, its a 6x45 and only has a one point neck, I can reload it with or without a die, but I use the die..I recall they called it a 0 tolerance..

Unfortunately RCBS no longer will make custom dies, I tried a year ago. Guess that’s what happens when the bean counters at the holding company “Vista Outdoor” get to work. Buzz Huntington rolling in his grave.....
