I've had some promising 50yd groups using Rem brass, WLR primers, 150gr Rem bulk (30-30) bullets, and RL-15 powder out of my M-94. 0.5-1.5gr below what Alliant shows on there website seemed to work the best. In that powder range groups were under 3/8" L-R (smallest was .160 C-C) but as I was having trouble finding the rear sight (indoors + bifocals) the up and down error was in the 1-1.5" range.

W-748 From 27.2 grains to 38.9 grains Winchester WLR Primer But you might be better off with AA-2520 from 26.9 grains to 34.0 grains and Winchester WLR primer.

I have been using the .30-30 in bolt action rifles, and a single shot for many years. The best loads for 150g bullets in my rifles, were 36g of IMR4064, and 34.5g of H335. I was using Winchester 150g PSP PP's. The best load I came up with for a Winchester 94, was 34.5g of H335 and the Hornady 150g RN, Win brass and primers. The Speer 130g FN is a good bullet in the .30-30 too.

Tops for WW 748 is about 35 grains. And H335 and WW 748 are either the same thing or so close that the loading data can be interchanged with the normal workup precautions.
