I have found loads for my 333okh belted using imr 4350 it's 65 grains of imr 4350 with 250 grain bullets .The other load is 67 grains of imr 4350 with 200-grain bullets .I can't find any imr4350 at any store around here .I did find a bunch of imr 4831 .I looked up loads for 338 win mag and the imr 4350 and the imr 4831 has the same grain loads with the same bullet .I was wondering if it's safe to substitute the imr4831 for the imr 4350 in my rifle .This cartridge is close to the 338 win mag just a little less capacity maybe four grains less .

IMR4831 is a good powder for many cartridges and is definitely slower burning than IMR4350 so it would be safe use IMR4350 loads as starting loads for IMR4831.

I started using IMR 4064 in my 30-06 many years ago. Over the years I kept hearing 4350 was THE powder. I finally tried it and in my rifle 4064 was much better. If 4064 will work for your application, I'd try it. I have used 4831 and am pleased with it too.

Since 4831 is slower than 4350-, any load for the latter can be used with the former. It will give lower pressure and velocities.
