Since we are restricted to monometal bullets in Kalif. now, I thought I would try some of these in my 338x74K. I was just doing vel./pressure workups & getting one hole groups w/ 3 diff. powders & three charge wts. per test group, impressive. The throat on my 338x74 is quit elong & that may be helping acuracy w/ the TTSX. Now I am going to have to shoot some for serious groups. I plan on working up loads for my 338-06 as well. This bullet looks very promising. Anyone hunt w/ them yet? LIFE IS NOT A SPECTATOR'S SPORT!

Hey Fred! Hope the 250 NAB's worked out for you in the 338x74. Yes...I have hunted with the 210 gr TTSX in my 338-06. I use 53 grs of RL15. I took a calf elk last season with this load (after I let my wife pot the cow)... :-) The 210 gr worked great...as has been my experience with the TSX in various calibers..the only thing I could comment on is that I found some the the blue plastic tip in the far shoulder of the calf...it gave me a start at first as to what this blue plastic particles where around the exit hole..then I remembered the blue tip on the TTSX. My 338-06 shoots the 210gr TTSX to just about the same POI as the 225gr TTSX over RL15. Both seem to group into sub MOA when I do my part. Highly recommended! Cheers Mike K

Hey Mike, I also ran my fav. load swapping out the 250grNAB. It printed a nice 1 1/4" group but to be fair, it was windy & I only pulled a bore snake thru after shooting the Barnes. At 2650fps, it would certainly be a good candidate for elk but I'll have to wait until next year to see. I was realy impressed w/ the 210grTTSX @ 2800fps. I'm sure I have room for another 100fps w/ a couple of powders, but the way the test rounds were shooting, 2800fps may be just fine. BTW, best results were with H4350 & VV160 right behind it.
