Hodgdon site has everything you need, and it's safe/reliable/accurate.

Ditch the Bullseye and find yourself a medium cartridge pistol powder. HS6 or Win 231.

Rothke ditch the bullseye why bullseye was made for light target loads in pistols.

It would be one of the best powders for a light pistol load with a light target bullet.

A proper load of bullseye and a wadcutter bullet out of a 38 are made fo each other.
