If you're using Lapua Brass, with unturned necks, for your .243, I need a favor. Will you please measure the necks of a couple of loaded rounds and report your findings here? I'm about to order a set of Redding Bushing Dies along with Lapua Brss and I'm trying to decide of what size bushing to order.

TIA for your trouble,

Rick

I have some. Most fired 3 to 5 times. I just measured about a dozen necks walls about .014 to .015 thick. Most lean closer to .015. Loaded rounds with 69 Berger VLDs and 70gr Nosler Ballistic Tips are .273 give or take about a half a thousandths. The primer pockets are real tight on these Lapua cases. In fact on some cases, even after several firings, are still so tight, it takes a little extra effort to seat the primer.
