why wont the cases that i have resized and primed not allow me to close the bolt on my rifle. i measured a round that will fit against my bulletless case and they are the same or less in lenth and neck diam. ?

i should add i have not seated a bullet or put a primer in this case yet

my case lenth is 2.09

the bolt will close all the way but will not go into the cocked position

If the sizing die is not screwed down deep enough the case will come out of the die with the shoulder to case face too long for your chamber. You might want to look at getting a neck sizing die. A case that has been neck sized only usually lend themselves to better accuracy.

big bob thanks for the help just so ou knwo the problem was the die. it would not resize the neck deep enough. i bought a set of dillion dies
