The other day someone posted that they heard the new Barnes manual had be velocities in it. I sent them an email and this is what they replied with:

"The velocities are just flat out wrong. We don't know where they came from.
However, the powder charges are correct. I have attached the correct data
for your review. They will also be posted on our Web site this week.

We apologize for this error and the confusion it has caused. Thank you for
contacting us directly regarding your concerns.

Good news that the actually replied to your email. I still have not heard from them. I am a little upset that they did not get back to me as my email to them was full of praise. Oh well, at least now we have the facts about those loads.

Thanks for pursuing this Bill. At least the loading data was valid and now we know the extent of the errors.

The powder charges ARE WRONG ALSO, the 165gn XLC charge is identical in 30-06 and 30-378 so the charge is WRONG also. These are 165 XLC charges!

Add the 7 Rem Mag 160 XLC to the list.

This is just plain irresponsible, I want a refund.

Thanks for the heads up. I was looking through one yesterday at Wally World and I was a little amazed at the 7mag data. Now I know why!
