Curious if anyone has done any workup's and if so what cartridges have you tried. Of course, care to share some results?

There is a artical on R17 in the new issue of Handloader mag. I got the impression it works very well in the short mags but is just another powder in other cartridges.

Thank you gentlemen, I stopped by our new to "Las Vegas" Sportsman's Warehouse this afternoon and found some on the shelf at $20.99, some VV 540 and some F210Match primers... all and all a worth while stop. Intention is to try it in the .223 with 77 grain Sierra's and the .308 with 175's among other options.

77 Sierra MK IMR 4007

Federal Gold Medal cases, F205M 2.257 COL rifle is a 24" Colt accurized model

23.7 gr vel = 2388 SD 15
24.0 gr " = 2417 SD 25
24.3 gr " = 2443 SD 9
24.6 gr " = 2470 SD 11
24.9 gr " = 2493 SD 12
25.3 gr Win 3x brass Vel = 2485 SD 19
25.5 gr " " " = 2507 SD 22

The accuracy was very good, but velocity is too low for long range applications.

Also had some very good luck with this powder in the 243 Ackley with 80 grain Bergers, but do not have the data in front of me now.
