Does anyone have experience with loading the Nosler 150 grain bullet? Just trying to get a sample of what the most popular powder might be. Thanks, smoker1

45.0 grains of H-414 with Nosler's 140 grain Partitions shoots three shots into a 1/2" group at 100 yards with my 7-08.

I've been using 120 Nosler's w 46.5/IMR4350. Excellent results. Wanted to go to a heavier bullet and ended up with 150's, 140's were my choice but were not available. Nosler recommended H-380 @45.5 grains. It was like spray and pray. tried to up it 1 grain to 46.5 and the mess seemed to tightned up some. The 120's were giving me ~3/4" @100. smoker1

Sierra recommend 45.6grs IMR4350 with their 140 grainers at 2800fps MV as the hunting load and a maximum load of 47.2grs for 2900fps. I use the equivalent of 47.0gr AR2209 with the Sierra 140gr SBT for a crony'ed 2900fps in my Remington 700 SPS with extreme accuracy to boot.
Varget is actually AR2208 and some get good results with this faster powder in the 7mm08, others do better with AR2209/4350.

Have also shot 150gr Sierras with 45.5gr AR2209, again extremely accurate but not chrony'ed yet.

Win 760 burns the most accurate in mine for a variety of bullet weights...and good velocity too.

For 100 grain Sierra HP's, Varget is my brew too. 42.0 grains of it with that bullet shoots 3 shots into 1/2" group at 100 yards. So, I have two excellent loads for my New FN Win Model 70 Featherweight in 7-08.
