Does anyone know whether old issues (early 80's) are available? I'll check my public library (just occurred to me), but electronic searchability would be a plus. I'm looking for a specific old issue. Worse comes to worse, I could imagine a worse time finding something than having to spend several evenings paging through musty old gun magazines at the library.

I have some old ones that I keep around. What are you looking to find?

i couldn't find anywhere that had them on the net. There are some old book stores on the net that carry some issues. Guns and Ammo also had a place to pay for glossy copys of back issues. I don't know if it would go back that far. I was like you two months ago looking for the orginial article 475 Linebaugh article by Ross Seyfried. I found it on Ebay. If you know the article you are looking for some of those have popped up on the net.

Post what you need I have a bunch of old one myself.

As a side note the 80's G&A were heads above the new ones. The old ones had articles for every lever of shooters. Now it seems not very technical at all. Compare the issue and yo will know what I mean
