I just bought a Rem 673 in 350 Magnum. Interested in your loads. What are your favorites? Accuracy? velocity? Interested in any weight from plinking to heavyweights. Thanx in advance guys.

Hey, ya old geek, I mean greek. Aren't the 350 and 35 Whelen about the same as far as case capacities? Maybe a good starting point would be to look at the 35 loads and start from there. Their ballistics are very similar. One is short and squat and the other tall and svelt.

The .350 Rem Mag is, in my experience, one of the easiest to load for. My M700 Classic shoots just about everything well, but it especially likes the 225 gr Nosler Partition over 58.5 gr of IMR4895 and a CCI Mag primer. Always under 2" at 200 yds.

It will also shoot either Hornady RN or Speer 250's very well with 55 gr. of IMR4064 and the CCI Mag primer. A little slow but a heck of a bear load.

I recently put a VXII 2-7X Shotgun scope on it. Love that heavy duplex.

I use 60gr of 4320 in mine behind the Speer 250 gr bullet. But I can load out to a COL of 3.16" in mine. This gives me 2638 fps out of a 20.5" barrel. FWIW - Dan

If you interested in shooting inexpensive cast bullets.

The cast forum is putting together a run of custom LEE 6 cavity molds. There is still room for a couple more before I have to cut it off.
email me if interested.
