Hey guys-
Can H4831sc data be safely substituted for H4831 numbers? I am reloading for a 300 H&H and am going by the Nosler manual. They list 4831sc as the recommended powder with 200 grain bullets, but don't list any numbers for just 4831. Can this safely be done? Thanks for any advice.

If you look at Hodgdon's website www.hodgdon.com I believer you can take the extreme tour and it will tell you that H4831 and H4831SC are ballistically the same powder, one is just cut to shorter kernals for easier metering.

Good luck.

They are essentially the same powders, just use the same precautions that you use when changing lots of the same powder.
