I have loaded many rounds of small amounts of ball powder from my uniflow without any issues. The technique for getting uniform throws is in the consistency of the strokes. I load most of my pistol ammo on a progressive now, but I used to be able to throw charge after charge without variance.

I used mine last weekend to load 4.5 through 6.0 grains of 700X in 38-40 WCF test loads. I used the large cylinder instead of the small volume cylinder (too lazy to change them out) and it worked just fine.

I've used mine for many years while reloading rifle and pistol ammo. It sound handle the pistol loads in the light weight area just fine. I would be checking every 5th one on your scales if you have questions.
