Please explain what you are attempting to do. There are several approaches to case preparation depending upon what you start with. Ku-dude

You can use any rotary case trimmer with a .308 pilot. Lee does not make a trimmer set for the 7.62x25. You can make these from 9mm Win Mag brass or, if you are a real masochist, .223 brass. Ku-dude

If you send LEE the case length and the caliber they will make you a pilot for $15.

If you don't have a rotary trimmer, and you don't trim other things, pay the $15 and get the Lee pilot. Chuck it up in a drill and turn them out. My favorite way to trim. Ku-dude

Drill press.

Set the length on the quill stop, chuck a Lee trimmer cutter with a homebrew pilot (I make mine from brass screws) in it. Go to town.

You can get away with just holding the cases flat against the table with a pair of pliers or you can buy or make a better caseholder.

I made my trimmer out'a a Lee 30 carbine trimmer and made my own pilot by trimming the 30 carbine pilot, then complete my trim with the lyman case trimmer using the 308 pilot...

BUT I wanna find a cutter to fit the lyman that trims and REAMS...I gotta take as much as 0.007" off the newly formed neck of those cases to use the bullet I've chosen.
