Some of them are labelled "spire point", some are boattails with little red tips, some are 154-gr. 7mms ... enough clues for me!

Now can the rest of y'all hold off, their server is taking forever with all the traffic.

Thanks for the great tip, $300 plus later I have 120 pounds of really cheap bullets coming.

Shhh, don't tell anyone their servers are being overwhelmed. If you want to order call 800 272 3000. If you can get to the site, you can DL a copy of the flyer and get the numbers of the bullets you want. The very nice guy I talked to, said they were going to sell 2 million bullets today. So act fast........

PS .375 270 SPs for less than nickle each, incredible.....

Gatogordo is right about phoning in an order. The website is impossibly slow. The lead tipped hunting bullets are VERY cheap in several calibers.

My 375 HH loves the 270 gr Spire Points, and at that price I'll have a very sore shoulder. The 400 gr 416's are pretty cheap also. I'm running out of reasons not to shoot my big rifles.

Steve,

If you look at the weights, pictures, and descriptions they can't be anything else.

This is draining a lot of bank accounts right now. One of my hunting partners called after I e-mailed him and he had just gotten 1000 of the .375's to split with another friend + assorted other goodies.

Definately call them. The web-site is terrible right now.

Good Hunting,

Bob

Thanks for the confirmation guys.

I ordered 1000 180 gn. .308 and 1000 150 gn. 7mm (already have 400 300 gn .375 [Smile] ).

47 lbs of bullets.

Probably should have placed an order for replacement barrels as well [Wink] .

I finally gave up on their web ordering and just called them as well.

Thanks for the heads up Bob!!

Take Care,

-Steve

When I talked to the nice gentleman this afternoon about my order, who I assume to be one of the owners, he said he had been in the business 40 years and never seen this kind of response. He said they might sell 2 million bullets today. It is possible, I helped them out to the tune of about 4300. .375s for less than a nickel, .338 250s for just over a nickel, really hard to believe. They can't last long.

Well, to whoever got all of the 50 grain 22 caliber bullets, thanks a lot for leaving some! [Wink]

I called this morning, "Sorry, they're all gone". [Mad]

I did find some other stuff that I could use though, so it wasn't all bad.

I too had to abandon the website but it's better today than yesterday! Geeeez, Louise!

A short but sweet fax left my credit card somewhat the worse for wear, but by now they're likely sold out of most of the usual calibers. We'll see what arrives.

Given this kind of stampede, do ya think they'll get the idea that less expensive bullets sell REALLY well?

I got a hint that they were Hornady bullets because it actually said so in a couple of spots.

If anyone needs 35 caliber 180 SSP pistol bullets I left a few (who else has that bullet).
I had to go with three separate orders becuse I tried three times to fulfill my needs and the server killed me . . . one time there I had an order for 11 grand worth of bullets . . . had to kill that before it went thru and then I lost my connection twice.
Oh well I would say that the local UPS pickup drivers will hate them unless they end up having the bullets drop shipped. I could see trips directly to the UPS center by Midsought trucks.
If they have them onsite at Midsouth, I bet I know where you can get a temporary warehouse order filler job for a few days!
If Midsouths isp had hopes of supplying service to any other customers, I bet this killed it for a day or two.
Still time to get the last few bullets available!

You guys didn't list the 40-gr V-Maxs. Oh yeah, I think I bought them all! Hahaha. I was able to snag 1000 of these for a grand total of $73 which includes shipping. Even with a cable modem it took me over an hour to get my order in!

By the way, what is the general consensus on these bullets? I've been told to sort through because a few of the V-Max plastic tips sometimes fall out (one of the blems) but still shoot well. Thanks.

Isn't it wonderfull... You have to buy for more than 300 dollars and it is illegal to export more than a 1000 regulated items, such as BULLETS.

So all in all... Have fun buying incredibly cheap bullets.. We cant have any here in scandinavia.

[Frown]

Thanks for the tip though

Bob,
Thanks for the tip. I managed to spend (only) $85, but they didn't have any of my favorites-180 .308 round nose (on sale at least). I did buy a bunch of other assorted weights and styles to try out. I'm still hoping that remington will release some 180 round nose core-lockts one of these days... If any of you guys hear about some of those round nose core-lockts going on sale please post the info...

By the way I used the phone to make my order, and it took less than 5 minutes.

I don't think I can afford to save much more money right now. [Big Grin]
Those OEM 35 caliber 180 grain one shot pistol bullets for 10 bucks and change sure make me glad I never got around to ordering the 35 caliber 180 grain Single Shot Pistol bullets a couple of weeks ago for 18 bucks and change!

Still some OEM bullets left!
