Just got the call from the smith saying my pair of 416 taylors are done. He wants me to bring some test loads up for him to shoot.

Trouble is that my RL-15 isn't here yet. What I have on hand is IMR 4064 IMR 4350 IMR 4831 a bunch of surplus wcc852 4831 speed some bal-c2 and some wc844.



Any of you have some mild loads for any of these powders I have barnes 350 x and speer 350 gr bullets to work with.

do a search on 416 Taylor and go to BW's 416 Taylor website--there are many loads listed there. Good luck!

My first rounds through my Taylor were - Speer 350gr. MagTip with 69gr. of IMR4064 C.O.L. - 3.2". I had the same problem as you. No Rel 15 at the time so this is the load I used for fire forming brass.
