Has anyone seen any of this for sale yet? I saw it advertised in "Guns" magazine. Some of the Data looks promising: http://www.hodgdon.com/data/US869data-01-11-2006.pdf I think I might have to try it in my 7 Ultra. I like the idea of a 160gr Partition at 3200fps and maybe more since they listed their test barrel at 24". It also might be worth a try in some of the other Ultra's or maybe 338 Lapua.......DJ ....Remember that this is all supposed to be for fun!.................. | ||

From the data, it appears to be just a tad faster than the lots of WC-860 and WC-872 that I have worked with. I wouldn't be surprised if it is some of the same "spec" powder. Looks like a very useful powder for .264 Winchester and .257 STW, also. | |||

Powder Valley will have some 869 within the next week or so. If you ever used the old surplus Hodgdon H870 this stuff is very similar. | |||
