My K95 in 7x65R will be delivered during the week (I hope!), together with 100 rounds of Norma ammo. I intend to take it to the range during the weekend to get the feeling of it and zero in the scope. After that I want to start developing my loads using the fired brass (I ordered the dies to be delivered with the rifle). I have some .284†bullets (Speer and Nosler 175 Grs) and Vectan (Tubal) and Vihtavuori powders, to play with. Any one willing to share his pet loads with a new 7x65R user? Hi, unfortunately i don´t have personal experience with reloading the 7x65R but the usual suspect might help you: http://www.again.net/~steve/284_12.html. Vithavouri also used to have a reloading guide for metric cartridges on their website but it is currently gone. Cheers Roman | |||

I don't have a 7X65R, but here's a couple of loads for it from Hornady Reloading Manual #3: 139 grain bullet: IMR 4350 - from 49.3 grains (2600 FPS) through 54.7 grains (3000 FPS) Norma N204 - from 50.5 grains though 56 grains - same velocity spread. 175 grain bullet: IMR 4350 -from 43.7 grains (2300 FPS) through 50.7 grains (2700 FPS) Norma N204 - from 46.1 through 52 grains, same velocity spread I also believe you could use .280 Remington STARTING LOADS as a point of departure for developing a good load in your rifle.
