Hello: I was wondering if anyone out there has working knowledge of the 30/223 in the T/C Contender, and also of the 357 Maximum necked down to 30 Caliber. I belive some have made this last one and called it the 30 Max. The original 30/223 came from Tom Beall in early IHSMA days. I have both these made up on my desk, and they look like perfect candidates for future barrels. I have plenty of 30 calibers, but most are the heavy hitters I hunt and shoot regular. Would appreciate any/all info/input etc. Just looking at them both really have me fired up. Thanks for listening and hope to hear from you. Bob

I'm like you, I have thoughts that the 30X357 Max (30 Max) would make a great TC chambering. I ended up with the 30 Max dies from Jim Rock some years ago on another project and thought I would hold them until a stumbled across a 32-20 barrel. LouisB

Casper, Ask these questions a little further down, in the Single Shot Pistol forum. You'll be amazed at the number of replies that you get. Nashcat
