Data For The Steyr Scout In 308 Winchester

Gentlemen,

We have started to load development for the Steyr Scout, and will add the final results ot our Reloading Pages.

Meanwhile, here is a sort of progress report on our results.

Our rifle has a 20" barrel, and was topped off with a Leupold 3-9 X scope.

All groups are 3 shots at 100 yards.

FN military FMJ 150 grain, "76" - 2786 - 1.947"
FN military FMJ 150 grain, "81" - 2740 - 3.124"

We used RWS brass and RWS 5341 primers in all our loads.

Saeed That is pretty good for such a small light rifle don't you think? Maybe Jeff Cooper knows whereof he speak.
