Has anyone used the Lee three jaw chuck with the drill attachment? If so, what am I doing wrong. The guide rod on the case trimmer is too long and will not go threw the primer hole enough to let the cutter blades hit the bullet neck.

You are sizing/de-priming your cases first, aren't you?

Do you have the pilot (guide rod)screwed all the way into the cutter head? Sometimes they can be a little tight. The shoulder of the shaft should be touching the cutter blades. Are you sure you have the right pilot for the caliber you are trimming? Have you measured your cases with a caliper? They may be shorter than the trimmer length.

Have you tried to put a case over the trimmer guide rod without the chuck on the case, and see if the pin will poke through the primer hole?

If it does, have you measured the brass to make sure it needs trimming.

However, as mentioned if the little rod is screwed in all the way, it fits through the primer hole and the brass is indeed too long then the only other thing is the rod is too long somehow.

for every hour in front of the computer you should have 3 hours outside
