Hi all ! I am gathering supplies for my 470 and am researching die options. Redding is set to produce a FL set for $60-$70. This is compared to RCBS at $245. I have used mostly RCBS & Hornady in the past. How to the Redding dies compare? GIven the price differential, are the Reddings worth having?
thanks,

I think highly of them. So much that most of my die sets have been upgraded to them. RCBS is probably the benchmark for threaded dies but IMO Redding is a cut above them.

thanks guys! They're not expecting to actually make any 470 dies until maybe june but they're about 1/4 the cost of rcbs and I think I'll wait for them to come out.

The Redding dies are about the equivalent of RCBS.
I prefer some features of the RCBS and some of those of the Reddings.
