| I've loaded the 168gr A-max for my Garands using IMR4895 or RL15, it's decently accurate but the SMK beats it in my rifles. Your DPMS will handle warmer loads than the Garand too.

I found the 147 gr. FMJ's feed better than the soft points, and priced better too. |

| www.ammoguide.com lists 1,062 loads for .308Win. How many you want? Join the site. Just $18 a year. More reloadin' info there than at which you can shake a stick. Visual, color, side-by-side comparisons of up to eight cartridges (for paid members); side-by-side, visual comparisons in the form of colorful bar graphs for ballistics of those eight cartridges; a reloading costs calculator; a graphed flight profile of the bullet for the data you supply, to include ballistics data at the yardage increments you specify; 21,000-some loads (all verified for safety) for 750-some cartridges (all depicted in color with dimensions); a master list to find any of those 750 cartridges and so much more. I love the site and get my reloading data from it exclusively. What's 4.9 cents a day for all that? Join up. You'll be glad you did... |
