ive never used these sierra's befor but ive just bought 2 new accumarks in 30-378 and 338-378 and was planning on using them on horse donkey pigs and buffalo. for the buffalo i was going to load barnes x and the rest the sierra sbt. how do you think they will perform considering we shoot a lot of stuff from between 10 and 100 yards. i was planning on using the 200gr in the 30-378 and 250gr in the 338-378. my main concern is the high velocity at close range and thought they might just blow apart

Sav, you have woodliegh and taipan bullets available to you for the price of hornady's here... when you take a HUGE weatherby case, run the velocity WELL over 3200, and put a cheap bullet in...... you will have bullet failures... look at hte woodliegh site, they have recommended/do not exceed IMPACT velocities. jeffe
