Todd,

You might want to get ahold of the A-square manual and reference the 500 Jeffrey data. I have a buddy that has a 500 AHR, but I don't know if he's worked up any loads in it yet.

Todd,

Saeed's reloading site has full powered loads listed for the 500 Jeffrey. As near as I can tell the 500 AHR is simply a Jeffrey with a longer neck and sharper shoulder angle.

All else being equal, loads for the 500 AHR would be very slightly greater than for the 500 Jeffrey.

Thanks,

I have already looked over the data on the reloading pages and it was a major help. I really was looking for data for heavier bullets. Again thanks!

Todd,

This is A-Square Data: 26" Barrel, 570 gr. Monolithic Solids

Min-H4895 100.0 1909fps 24700 CUP
Max-H4895 101.0 2303 38900
Min-IMR7828 100.0 1677 16700
Max-IMR7828 120.0 2050 30000
Min-RL15 101.0 2223 36700
Max-RL15 105.0 2291 39800
Max-IMR4064 101.0 2274 38900

If you compare this information with the Accurate Reloading pages you should get a good starting point for the 570 gr. The 600 gr. I would use Min load Reduced by 5% for the 600 and see what you get. The 600 gr. is only a 5% increase in weight over the 570 gr. and you should be safe. First I would shoot a min. load 570 gr. in your rifle to check it on a chronograph to see how the data compares with actual in your rifle.

Did you get your rifle from AHR? I have been looking at their rifles for some time and wanted to ask someone what they thought of: workmanship, finish, fit, and overall rifle?

Good hunting
Steve

Steve,

The rifle looks just like the one on the AHR website under DGR rifles. The metal fit and finish is good. I would get a synthetic stock though. Thanks for the data out of the A-Square manual I am sure it will be a big help.
