Most, if not all, 22/6PPC benchrest shooters start with Lapua 220 Russian brass, full length resize, trim, turn the necks, then fireform. Lapua has to me my hands-down favorite.

I agree with Bill that the Lapua 220R is the way to go, but be aware that you will HAVE to turn the necks to be able to chamber it safely in a SAAMI spec chamber (.270), as loaded 220 lapua measures .271 to .272. HTH, Dutch.
