My second edition hornady reloading manual does not show load data for the interbond bullet. Of course, hornady's response was to buy the newer edition. Does anyone have load data on the 180 gr interbond in the 300 win mag? Can I use the load data listed for the standard spitzers?
Are those loads listed as max in the new hornady manual? My old manual lists 74.3 gr as max load with h-4831. I am trying to find out what the max load is with RL-22 and the 180 gr interbond?
You can use the old data for the IB. They do not separate them and show one set of data for all of their 180 grain bullets in the new manual. Work your way up from the starting load and quit when you get signs of pressure. From my own experience R22 and H1000 gave me the best combination of accuracy and velocity.
Thanks for the responses. I already have a load worked up with a 180 gr partition and 75.5 grains of RL-22. I think I will try to work up to this load with the interbond.

I don't think my load is "max", but seems to kill whatever it hits quite well.
Remember, forgivness is easier to get than permission.
