I was wondering if anyone has used Large Rifle/BR primers in a WSM cartridge instead of Magnums. Going to load for a 270 WSM and noticed that with IMR 4350, which I will be using, the amount of powder is not that much more (about 1-2 grains) than the amount used in a 30-06 loaded with large rifle primers.

I realize that with the 7 and 300 WSMs they hold 5%+ more powder so I can see the logic in that.

In my 7mm WSM and 300 WSM my results have been much improved with Magnum primers, just my experience

i tried magnum and large using 4350 165gr bullets in my 300 wsm no difference in accuracy.
