Anybody have any experience with the
Speer 25cal 100gr Hot-Cores on whitetails and/or mulies? I will be working on load development soon and plan on starting with 110 Accubonds, but also looking for some other options. Thanks!

two cents worth here.....I've used 100 grain C/C bullets with excellent success on both big whitetails and mulies.....but in a .257 Roberts at 3,100'/sec.....I'm not at all sure I'd drive them much faster then that.

In the 25 WSM I'd sure be looking for a better constructed bullet and the 110 accubonds you mention might just be that bullet. IMO Swift makes an A-Frame in 257 cal as well and I've been very happy with them in other cals.

Thanks for your opinion! I just talked with Swift and they are releasing a 100gr Scirocco in the next month or 2. I guess I'll try the Accubond and the Scirocco II and go from there!
