Anyone know of any 8mm bullets heavier than 220 grains. The only heavy 8mm bullet I've been able to find is a woodliegh in 250 grains. That's the weight I'm interested in but I would like a spitzer or semi sptizer if available. the Woodliegh is a round nose. Also, on the medium bore forum someone suggested that the heavier bullets may not stabilize in the 1 in 11" twist my barrel will have. What do you think? I think the woodliegh will due to its shorter length. Thanks, Z ![]() Aut vincere aut mori

Sometimes Barnes Originals show up on ebay. I was fortunate to purchase several boxes of the 225 and 250gr Originals. Haven't tried any yet.

as to the twist rate, I'd suspect the twist you have will suffice nicely. I'd prefer a little faster but what you have might just do the trick. /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." Thanks gents. Someone was kind enough to calculate that my 1 in 11" twist will stabilize a bullet a bit over 1.4" long. That ought to cover even the 250's I would think. ![]() Aut vincere aut mori
