I finally bought one. Should get here next week. In the meantime, I sure would like some input on your experiences with this rifle/caliber with factory ammo, milsurp, and reloads.

I have that caliber on a .308 barrel, Sako, L-461, 1-12 twist. It often shoots ragged hole groups at 100 yards with IMR 4198, AA1680, AA 2015 in reloadable cases with all the 30 caliber bullets from major manufacturers in weights from 110 to 150 grains. I Like the Sierra single shot pistol bullets at 130 grains for deer. Looks like 30-40 krag got them out to 125 or so.My AR in 7.62 X 39 on a .310 bore shoots similarly and with .308 bullets too. your CZ will do just fine with any reasonable load. And most of the the lighter 30 calibers work well on deer at these velocities.

Let me add that I experienced failure to fire due to light primer strikes in Lapua military ammo and some of the surplus floating around with both guns.

i really like that rifle.
i wish they had built it w a mag catch similar to an AK so you could use AK mags.
a scout version w/ a 20 rd AK tanker mag would be a hoot.

N.S.Sherlock, I too liked the Single Shot Pistol bullets in my 7.62x39. I have never seen a Sierra 130gr SSP in .308. I would like to try some, what is Sierra's product # and where can I purchase some?

Thanks
