OK, I confess - I need help! I have a Lyman Tru-Line JR loading press and several sets of dies, 38 Spcl, 30-06, etc as well as several sets I cannot identify. How do you check these things to know what caliber they are for? I have a 1954 Lyman loading book and catalog that came with the stuff and it offers no help I can find re ID or caliber. One set in particular interests me as it seems to be some 22 caliber, maybe a K-Hornet? I do know the previous owner swaged bullets and loaded a lot of 22 (.224") caliber.
Any and all help appreciated.

Lord, give me patience 'cuz if you give me strength I'll need bail money!!

quick and easy: try sticking factory loaded ammunition in the neck sizing and bullet seating dies. It's what I did.
