I read some where that Norma Rifle powders are no for sale here in the U.S.

Thank you both for your help. Now that I can buy some Norma powder, where do I get the info for using it for reloading. I will surch the net for a Norma reloading manual, but any suggestions would be of great value to me, and would save me some time.

I wouldnt give Norma the time of day. They bounce in and out of our US market like a teather ball on steroids. I used to have interest, but they are far too erratic for me. Just like Steyr, you want to do business in the US, here's a clue, stop using chump gun dealers, and get reputible.

if you only knew the difficulties associated with importing powder these day.....yes you are right that norma products are erratic at bestas far as supply goes, but at the same time there range of powders especially NORMA MRP is the best of the best....while its avaliable buy a hundred lb keg and your done with all the erratic supply problems for the rest of your days...PROBLEM SOLVED!!

I concur with M 98, Norma powders are worth squirreling away in quantity, something I have been doing for 30 years. There are some cartridges that just don't get any better than the "standard" Norma factory loads with Norma powder and Norma Brass, the 6.5x54, 6.5x55, and 9.3x62 all come to mind. As for their in again out again availability, much of that blame has to go to their European ownership and Euro visions of the US markets. Don't blame Norma, do blame their owners, such as the current RWS organization (RWS owns Norma) which has had a screwed up US operation for over 25 years. Same situation applies to Steyr. When the Steyr distributor was an old line US gun family at GunSouth, their dealings were solid, then in 1999 the Euro bean counters stepped in again and snafued Steyr USA. Steyr is only now starting to get organized in the US once again.
