hey, I have 165 partitions moving at 2700fps and 180 gamekings moving at 2550fps. I hunt deer and moose in ontario canada. Initialy I was thinking the partition for deer and the gameking for moose but I have heard differently from a couple of people... any input on which I should use for each animal ? thanks.

I've shot a bunch of Elk as well as Deer and Antelope as well as a few more critters with the 180 Game King going 2750 fps and have had excellent resukts with good exit wounds every time. I personnaly would have not problem using those 180's on Moose for that matter the 165's will work good too.
I'm a big fan of developing an accurate load with one bullet weight and shooting everything with it, no confusion that way!
Shoot them where it counts with whatever is in your rifle and you will be skinning a Moose right now.

I agree, both will get the job done when the bullet is well placed.

While I'm a born again believer in Partitions, I'm also a believer in working up one good load and using it on everything. Sooooo, I'd work up a good load with the 180s and go kill stuff.
