Hi gentlemans, do anyone of you have a loading data for 8x68S with 160 gr Barnes TTSX or 200 gr Hornady Accubond? But i will be happy for any load data from 160 gr to 200 gr bullet weight. I have a lot of RWS brasses, shooted the factory Blaser CDP till now, but for the reloading i can't find the CDP bullet so i will try these ones. Thank you! Regards: Andy

Bofors RP4 and RP5, Norma (204 and MRP), Wihtawuori. These ones are the easiest for me to buy here in Hungary. Regards: Andy

Mauser 66 I have never used the Bofors powders so I will be no help there. I understand that Norma and Alliant powders are both made in Sweden (at least some are)and if not the same they are very close. The powders I am speaking about are N204 and RL19 are very similar and MRP and RL22 are very similar. My 8x68 is a custom rifle built on a commercial 98 action. I have found with 200 gr bullets (both Speer and Nosler Partitions) that IMR 4831 is a very good powder. Using RWS brass and CCI 250 mag primers.I would suggest you start around 66 grs and work up carefully watching for signs of excess pressure. 70 to 71 grs will be close to max in most rifles. I have not used the Barnes 160 gr TTSX bullet but I have used the 180 gr Barnes TSX and the 180 gr Nosler E tip. Both are mono metal bullets. RL19 (similar to N204) is the powder that is most accurate in my rifle with these bullets. I would suggest you start around 67 grs and work up carefully. Max in my rifle is 72 grs. I hope this is of some help.

Hello I have used Barnes TSX 180, Nosler BT 180, Barnes TTSX 160 and Nosler Accubond 200 in combination with IM 4350, RL 19, RL 17, IMR 7828SSC, Norma MRP, Vit 560 and so far my best combination is Rl17 and Barnes TSX of 180. These are the characteristics: I must say that I placed the Chrony at 15 feet. I use a Hornady Comparator and K&M to turn the neck. On the range i was able to make a 1,5 cm group with four shots on 100 m. On the weekend driven hunt i wasnt lucky enough. Just saw red deer stags and fallow deer stags but now wildboars wanted to be the first tester of my new ammo! Will try to post some pics of the stags and from the end of the hunt. Regards: Andy

In the 2 weeks free around Christmas a nd new year i was out hunting nearly every day. And the new ammo made his job! 3 red deer stags, 1 wildboar, 1 fallow deer stag and 2 foxes down! 8 bullets, all hit! Perfect performance! Distances from 50 meter to 282 meter. Thanks for all your help! As i finish with the Accubonds, the next one in the row is the TTSX! Regards: Andy
