Just for fun, what is the formula to find the miles per hour of from feet per second?

Also, how many feet are there in a mile?

5280 feet per mile
60 seconds per minute
60 minutes per hour
1 MPH= 5280 feet/3600 seconds=1.4666666fps
1 fps=360/5280=0.681818 MPH

1100fps=750MPH=Mach 0ne

Vibe has it right:

5280 ft. per statute mile
3600 x 5280 = 19008000 ft hr
19008000 ft hr / 5280 ft = 3600 mph

5280/3600 = 1.4666667 = (constant)
or
3600/5280 = 0.6818181 = (constant)

so
muzzle velocity/1.4666667 (constant) = mph
or
muzzle velocity x 0.6818181 (constant) = mph

1100 fps/1.4666667 = 750 mph.
or
1100 fps x 0.6818181 = 750 mph

Of course that does not take into consideration drag and gravity.
Sorry about the edits I'm asleep today !
