I just got an e-mail flyer from Midway...they have Ramshot "Hunter" powder on sale right now for $9.99 per pound. Its burn rate is in the same general area as Re19, H-4350, and Norma 204, in case anyone's interested.


My country gal's just a moonshiner's daughter, but I love her still.

I'm gonna have to try some of this Ramshot sometime. Awhile back fella's posted a ramshot powder called TAC. compatable for 223.204. I'd try this If I was gonna do up some 243,308.

The better buy is Data Powder 85 from Powder Valley.

It works out to be $8.63/lb and is the same stuff as Hunter.

RamShot has a reloading guide on their website in a .pdf file for downloading. They also have a burn-rate chart to show where their powders are in relation to other powder manufacturers.
