It is covered in Ken Water's Big Bore Cartridges book from Wolfe Publication. Yes it is a real hammer but really little is gained over the 375 H&H. In the 375 you can push a 235 gr Barnes at 3000 fps which shoots as flat as a 180 30-06. If one had a burned out classic British/American magazine rife in 300 H&H, built on a Magnum Mauser, the 350 G&H would be a neat rebore. With today's super bullets, you could take anything that walks and have an off the scale "cool factor". Did a 700 Classic a few years back from 300 to 400 H&H ...... thought a lot about the 350 G&H. As you can buy a very nice 700/721 in 300 H&H for less than a grand and a rebore is about $300, you could have a 350 G&H for about the same price as a lot of newer "magnums" of lesser quality and lower performance. "Build it and they will come"! | |||
