Is the lost number on hodgdon rifle powders the orange label on the bottom of the bottle with a whole slew of numbers, or is it found somewhere else. [Confused]

The lost number cannot be found that's why it's lost.
However I have no help on Hodgen powders.
Meant in fun.

As far as im aware of the LOT number's for Hodgdon powder's is that orange sticker on the bottom of thier can's...

The lot (batch) numbers for Hodgdon powder's is that orange sticker on the bottom of their can. Ignoring the "1" that stands alone, the next six numbers represent the date. The nubers following represent the batch. Example: "1 060300249" would mean that on June 3, 2000, batch 249 was put in these jugs. Batch 249 is what you want if you want to maintain consistency.
