I was wondering if any of you had tried annealing nickle plated brass and if it had worked or if it justed melted the nickle plating off of the brass?

If you're melting the nickel you would melt the brass too !!Nickel melts about 2600F ,brass about 1700f .Nickel plated brass is annealed the same way as brass cases.

I've annealed some Federal 470NE cases and other than being discolored, they seem to be fine.
