Somewhere during my 'net travels, I ran across a link to The High Road http://www.thehighroad.org/index.php?s= and checked it out. Man, that forum's even more active than this one.
Wonder how they got a "dot.org" designation?

I spend most of my forum time on The High Road. It has a lot of active moderators. They monitor posts to ensure that the discussion remains firearms related, and they don't let things get out of hand with obscenity and name calling.

I found the "moderators" to be a bit too quick to change a post on the old Firing Line for my taste. They would even change the "meaning" of technically related input where no obscenity or name calling had taken place.
If they change some of the technically relevant date on one of your posts in a Thread to something you don't agree with, you can go in and "Delete" their intrusive change by hitting "Edit", highlight their "moderation fiasco" and entering a ( . ) over their change. Basically, "Moderating the Moderators".
For some reason, it seems to upset those Moderators when someone "Moderates" their ignorance.
Best of luck to you all at that site!
